SOME DOORS

SOME DOORS

Some hinges
in its nights
of insomnia
sing together
with nails and screws
old blues
that they did learn
from the railway tracks
on the south of the Mississippi

Some locks
tell stories
of several daring geniuses
that bored of their lamps
crossed their domains
to challenge their own madness
and to make indescribable wishes
beyond the fourth dimension

On its idle days
knockers and knobs
have fun betting about
who will open or close
its doors for the last time
while innocently
we look for the keys
without noticing their ironic smiles
without even suspecting
what role will they play
in this delirious madness
I’m not saying that all of the doors
be like that
but some do
only some
